Loompaland Alley sets the stage as the first area designated for young children. Librarians, Dot Garabedian and Ann Woodcock have designed crafts related to reading and books. Music, books and many hands on activities will fill Irvin Avenue all day, Saturday, October 7th from 10am to 4pm. Organizers have once again brought together entertainers, storytellers and activities for the younger set.
The Main Stage by the town clock has evolved into a gathering spot for children of all ages to listen to their favorite authors read their stories and to enjoy the music of popular children’s entertainers such as Yosi, Marc Bazerman, Two Of A Kind and Richard Mclauglin. Authors and illustrators Robert Agnello, Artie Bennett, Nancy Viau, Allison Gutknecht, Mark Collins, Paul Czajak, Colleen Rowan Kosinski, Megan Atwood, Samuel Formica, Jack Kohler, Patricia Lugo, Tara Mozee, Victoria DiVine and Robin Barone are all appearing at the Collingswood Book Festival. They look forward to greeting young books lovers and hope you will stop at the Children’s Area a visit with them.
Bring the kids and enjoy a fun filled free adventure!
