Writing for Survival: A Workshop - Thursday, September 30 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Workshop Leaders: Shawn R. Jones and Jade Jones

How do you find the courage to speak after you are used to being silenced? Trauma, sickness, grief, and even people can keep us from sharing our stories.

Using generative writing prompts, we will examine poetry and fiction techniques like language and characterization.

In this supportive workshop environment, we will create space for all levels of writers.

Each of us has our own valuable story to tell and now our next step is to write it.

Mother/daughter writers Shawn R. Jones and Jade Jones will lead this free, virtual writing workshop from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30.
