Become an Exhibitor
Featuring more than 60 presenting authors and an additional 275 authors and exhibitors, the award-winning Collingswood Book Festival is the longest-running, largest literary event in the Delaware Valley. Held along Haddon Avenue in historic Collingswood, NJ, the festival welcomes authors, illustrators, new and used booksellers, writers’ groups, writing programs, publishers, and exhibitors of book-related merchandise.
The purpose of the festival is to foster literacy and to celebrate books and reading. The organizers reserve the right to deny space to any exhibitor whose merchandise does not serve this end or whose material does not support our framework of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
*DATE: Saturday, October 4, 2025, Haddon Avenue, downtown Collingswood, NJ.
TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. rain or shine.
*In the event of inclement weather, the festival will take place in Collingswood High School (424 West Collings Avenue). Exhibit spots will be assigned by order of arrival, first come-first-placed. Space size may be decreased if necessary.
Exhibitor Fees
For-Profit Authors/Exhibitors: $75.00
Nonprofit Authors/Exhibitors: $40.00 (Proof of non-profit status required)
All Used Book Vendors: $50.00

Registration Deadline
The deadline for all registrations is August 18, 2025. No registrations will be accepted after this date.
Notification of your acceptance, location, and arrival/set-up instructions will be sent to you via email on or before September 15, 2025. Communications will be sent by email only. We will not mail exhibitor confirmations or instructions.
How to Apply to be an Exhibitor
The quickest and easiest way is to use our online application. Click the link for the application and then select “Exhibitor Application.” Complete the application in full with detailed description of your booth. Securely submit your application and your payment via credit card, and you’re all set!
Another option is to download the application in PDF. The form has been set up so that you open it in PDF, complete all the required information, save it to your computer, and then print it. Or you can just print the form and then fill in the required information by hand. Once you’ve completed the application, mail the application and your payment to the Collingswood Book Festival at P.O. Box 284, Collingswood, NJ 08108.
Only published traditional, self-published authors, and book-related crafters will be accepted, based on a review by a volunteer jury. The Collingswood Book Festival reserves the right to select or refuse an exhibitor. Up to two authors may share one single booth. Multiple booths may be purchased and will be placed together.
Display Space
Exhibitor area is outside along middle of Haddon Ave. in downtown Collingswood, two rows with booths back to back. Display booths for for-profit and nonprofit exhibitors measure 10’ x 10’.Display booths for used book vendors measure 10’ x 20’.
You are responsible for providing your own tent, table(s), chairs, backdrops, signage, weights, commerce transaction devices, etc. Tents or canopies with weights are welcome and recommended. Spots are assigned by the Collingswood Book Festival. Vendors are liable for their setup, materials, and any damages caused during the event. It is the obligation of exhibitors to comply with all rules, regulations and laws in the Borough of Collingswood.
Arrival & Set-up/Break down
Exhibitors MUST arrive between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. Haddon Avenue will be closed to automobile traffic at exactly 8:30 a.m.
No cars will be allowed to unload on Haddon Avenue after 8:00 a.m. Early tear-down is prohibited snd booths must be completely removed by 5:00 p.m.
Weather Policy
The Collingswood Book Festival is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the call to relocate to Collingswood High School will be made the day prior. Placement of booths in the high school gym will be made on first come-first assigned basis. Previously assigned booth numbers will not apply. Booth space may be decreased if necessary.
Additional Guidelines
Exhibitors are responsible for their own sales transactions, cash/change/card reader, internet connection, business practices. Please review NJ business tax rules here.
Food and water is available for purchase at the many establishments on Haddon Ave. It is recommwended that food, snacks, water be brought for personal use.
Exhibitors will be listed on website and in booklet available at festival. When applying, please enter “trade name”, name you want to be referenced by on website, in the appropriate field.
Late name changes will not be made prior to festival.
Vendors must maintain a clean and professional booth.
Be kind and courteous to other vendors, attendees, and volunteers.
Vendors may not walk the festival grounds with products or samples.
Disputes should be brought to the attention of a Festival volunteer for quick resolution.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the event and disqualification from future shows.
